MEET OUR FOUNDER - ANDI FOSTER-MENEGHETTI

Andi Foster-Meneghetti is the heart and soul behind Salty Movements. A keen surfer, mother of one, dedicated wife, and outdoor enthusiast, Andi’s life revolves around embracing movement in every form and staying connected to the natural world around her.

From a young age, Andi had a deep passion for movement, enjoying both solo and team sports. This love for activity led her to become a personal trainer, where she had the opportunity to work alongside incredible trainers and physiotherapists. With over a decade of experience and growth, Andi’s journey culminated in the creation of Salty Movements—a space where women can come together to move, grow, and empower each other.

Salty Movements was born out of Andi’s personal experience as a mother. After giving birth to her daughter in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andi found herself longing for a supportive community that could help her safely return to movement and connect with other mums navigating similar journeys. Realizing that her struggles were shared by so many, she created Salty Movements as a space where women, particularly mothers, could come together in a safe, inclusive, and kid-friendly environment to rediscover movement and strength.

Andi’s vision is to help women of all ages feel strong, empowered, and connected to the natural beauty that surrounds them—whether that’s running through the surf, playing with their kids, or simply enjoying the outdoors. She is passionate about supporting women as they build physical strength, mental resilience, and deeper connections with others, so they can live a vibrant, joyful life.

Andi is inspired daily by the women she meets, the journeys they share, and the powerful connections they form. She believes that everyone we encounter is a part of our journey, arriving at just the right time to help us learn, grow, and connect.
